EVERYBODY SAY YEAH! TEMPTATION BOX 2010 ZEPP TOKYO DVD

i wonder how long since i posted at here. since i'm officially graduated, i try my best to dedicate some post for this outdated blog.

yea, this is the one i will talk about for this post. Those that has the intention to buy and watch, DO NOT READ THIS since all are spoilers. i will comment their performance for 3 songs each time, with some exceptions. so hold on tight, this will be a long post.

start of DVD, there's background music and all the crowd are cheering already. about 10 seconds, there's sound from guitar, and then drum. AND THEN, when the tune startsm this is the starting song.

1. EVERYBODY SAY YEAH

followed by,

2. GIRLism
3. DOLL

to be honest, when the tune starts, it immediately jogs me back to where they performed during AFA X @ Singapore. exactly the same, but you can never get sick of it. ESY is a perfect song to start with as always, since it immediately brings the crowd to the rhythm and of course, YEAH-ing when SCANDAL sings EVERYBODY SAY. most importantly, MAMI's guitar riffs are perfect in this DVD. no doubts.

as for GIRLism, is a relaxed song. if you understand the lyrics, you would make a smile on their lyrics. especially towards the end, when they mentioned AVOCADO.

DOLL on the other hand, is a classic song for them to perform in every concert. energetic enough to bring the crowd into the rhythm. fast tempo nevertheless.

is a break after this set, and SCANDAL interact with the audience, saying about this concert is the last one for them for this tour, and then how are everybody, etc. and the moment when HARUNA says "Everybody, this is a superb night!", the next set of songs are performed.

4. Hi-Hi-Hi
5. Playboy Part II
6. BEAUTeen!!

you know, i'm always a big fan of Hi-Hi-Hi. the way they sing, the way how the songs goes, and of course, that bass slapping from TOMOMI. a never miss. and when this was performed, you have to give a thumbs up. cause that bass slapping is really great, even enhanced when TOMO just throw the pick like nobody's business. =Dp. and there's a small part where every HARUNA fans will squeal. chotto dake~

for both Playboy Part II and BEAUTeen!! , great songs and great performance, nothing much to comment here. so let's move on to the next set of performance.

7. Shoujo M
8. Shoujo S

ok, 2 songs list, the 1st exception. if you all had the 1st DVD, you might remember how SCANDAL performed TOKYO right? coming out just sing, no drums, no guitars, no bass. pure interaction between them and the audience. same thing happened in 2nd DVD. Shoujo M this time. at the start, the girls performed army walking while MAMI is the "commander". and then turn around, and MAMI becomes a DJ! throughout the song, they did dancing, which is funny but easy to follow. AND of course, the things i like here is definitely RINA playing that keyboard with ease. (Come on, she started playing keyboard since 3!) and MAMI kissing the Can-Ta and throw it to the audience. (don't be jealous, guys).

Shoujo S is another classic song. performance is best as always. Next set!

9. Houkago 1H
10. Switch
11. Namida no Regret

this set can be termed as soothing and saddened period from me. since all 3 songs contains tune that makes people touched or have that chance to have tears coming out. Houkago 1H is fully TOMO song, which makes it unique and is nice to listen. Switch is also mostly TOMO's part, with HARUNA and MAMI coming in between. and of course, NNR. their 1st ever ballad song. touched definitely. for a note, MAMI uses her Gretsch Falcon guitar in this set.

12. Kagerou
13. Shunkan Sentimental

these 2 songs are really fast tempo when you watched it. you will get your body pumped up due to the way they performed. too awesome. TOMO's sounds like crying when she's singing her part in Kagerou. MAMI's guitar performance in Shunkan is also a plus! the close-up and you all see how fast her fingers move during the play.

14. Aitai
15. Hello! Hello!
16. Taiyou to Kimi ga Egaku STORY

towards the end, the performance goes even higher. i shall not say that much, go figure it out and watch it.

The end! NOT! Encore desu~

17. Shining Sun
18. Sayonara My Friend
19. SCANDAL BABY

the way the encore starts is also sweet. almost the same effect as ESY. music played 1st, then guitar comes in, bass and drums. and then sing!

Sayonara My Friend. acoustic guitar from HARUNA. she's good. real good at it! and the song, i mean, the title already tells you isn't it. everybody's la-la-la when HARUNA prompts them to do. TOMOMI almost cries but hold onto it.

REALLY LAST SONG. SCANDAL BABY. that MAMI's part in guitar is still as good as it is. and of course, TOMOMI really starts to cry when the concert finally ends.

overall, the whole performance is definitely better than the 1st DVD i must say. each member's capabilities are shown way more obvious here. a lot of great moments. thoroughly enjoyed it. a MUST BUY.

20. Around-the-Clock Tour Record -With SCANDAL Comments-

this is an exclusive part found only in this DVD. you can see them talk about each of every concert they held in this tour, what they did before and after the concert. for example, MAMI's playing drums, TOMOMI's playing guitar. lots more. something like this.

with that, i end this post. as always, i welcome comments about this. thanks.
