Challenging a new genre? so not a problem for SCANDAL!

夜露死苦 ladies and gentlemen.

for those that don't know 夜露死苦, it simply means yoroshiku from direct translation. (ye lu si ku), say it fast, and it will become yoroshiku. i see this in a SCANDAL X ELSWORD interview. TOMO gave it! haha. ok, time for my 3rd review. so hang on guys.

so what you all think of SCANDAL? just a girl pop-rock band? or maybe even more than what i think?

to me, SCANDAL are not only a girl pop-rock band, they are a band that gives people full of surprises! just when we all thought they only create rocking power songs, they do covers of them as well! and just when we thought is rock songs and superb covers, they come up with another surprise: trying ballad song.

right, by this time i think you all know which song i'm talking about right? let me give the PV if you all still cannot figure it out.

is Namida no Regret, the only ballad they have done so far.

-sob- oh gomene, is just that this PV is a way tag sad. :(

ok, back to the main topic.

to be honest, even before this PV or song was release, my initial thought is like this: HUH? SCANDAL doing ballad? you serious?

at that moment, i was really questioning why they challenging a ballad. cause they have been doing rock/pop songs till so well that choosing a ballad makes it real weird for me. it just doesn't seem to be their style at all.

but hearing the song, you know? is just like again, this band had to make me eat my words. cause the song is just deadly great! is just like secret base, the feelings are there, the slow rhythm that accompanies it. this is just another great song!

again, if i were to criticize this one, is definitely had to be the PV. why would you have the girls crying? i mean, these girls doesn't deserve to be neglected in the PV,all their relationships with friends or boyfriends got destroyed. the girls don't deserve this. but oh well, since is for the PV purpose, i will give the way they act throughout the PV 10/10!

after these single, i just feel this band really can be diverse. you throw them what kind of genre, they equally produce the same goods! no matter what scenario also. thumbs up to them!

ok, that marks my review for today. how did you feel about this song? too sad? more things to add onto my review. once again, all comments are warmly welcomed!

so stay tune for next week's review then. ja ne~
