End of 2009 = Beginning of 2010 = SCANDAL's uprising fame

on 17th of June 2009, a band of 4 members hit the world with an opening song for "Bleach". Name: Shoujo S.

my initial thoughts: what the? playing on a rain setting? must be some nonsense band.

subsequently, i checked some live performances and totally changed my impression: wow, these girls sure know how to play. the best is that these girls never even touch an instrument until they really form this band on SCANDAL. and of course, with the release of BEST SCANDAL, the world is receiving attention from this band.

zoom into 2010:

on 3rd of February, this band SCANDAL, rocks the whole world again, with another single release. never did i thought this single will transform this band into an even higher status as all time pop-rock girl band (as of now). that's right, people, this song, the 4th ending of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Shunkan Sentimental!



awesome isn't it? this is the reason why they claimed themselves as "The Most Powerful Japanese Girlie Pop Rock".

look, all the essentials are there, the rhythm, the dance set, everything flows! this is also easily to be the best ending for FMA that i ever hear throughout the series. everytime you hear it, it makes you wanna rock! doesn't it?

MAMI's guitar part here shows just how much she improved within a year. TOMOMI's bass too.

onto the uniform, i must say, i'm quite surprised to see that they are following Edward's idea of having a red jacket. but on a bright note, the way this uniform image was shown, my surprise turns into full of awesomeness. it's just simply, one of best uniforms that i ever see. nothing else matters.

if there's one point i want to say, is the makeup on HARUNA. just a tag heavy on her eyes. you get what i meant right?
